Broadside Leech The Broadside Leech is one of my older patterns, dating back to the late 60's/early 70/s.

Tied on a long-shank hook with a marabou tail, dubbed and picked-out marabou body, with the downy-feathered stem of a neck or saddle feather tied flat on top of the shank and secured with tinsel in the manner of a matuka, with a collar of dyed aftershaft feather.

This meaty morsel imitates very well a swimming leech and has accounted for many large trout over the years.

Recommended Sizes:  4, 6, 8,

Recommended Colors:  black, brown, olive,
