Floating Wooly Bugger The Wooly Bugger is not only a great subsurface fly but it's also a fish-taking surface fly as well. For bass and trout especially. Well worth adding to your arsenal.

Tied with a trimmed deer hair body in place of the usual chenille, this fly can be fished on top, creeping it and crawling it along over likely-looking water, or just beneath the surface to suggest a wide range of insect life or other food that fish may feed on.

Tied on a 3xl or 4xl ringeye streamer hook.

Where two colors are used to describe the fly (e.g. olive/black),the first color describes the hackle and tail color, the second color describes the body color.
